Your weekly DeFi update. The good stuff, but not financial advice!
Long time no see and I apologize for that, but not much happened in the recent weeks, which is worthy to mention.
(As I said, I want to send out fewer Newsletters and make it more educational. But I created a Telegram group for farming. It’s mainly for sharing good farming opportunities. If you want to join, here’s the invite)
However, tomorrow is election day in the US, but doesn’t mean that we’ll get to know the outcome immediately. It probably takes a few days until the winner gets announced (poor performance for a so called first world country).
Volatility might go up, but we can't know in what direction. The best financial tool for such a scenario is a straddle. This is an options strategy, where you get a long call and a long put option. The benefit of that, is an anticipation of both directions, which means that you profit no matter the market moves.
But there’s also a risk, when the price moves sideways. In this case you’re losing the premium, you pay for the options.
In case of the protocol of my choice, Gammaswap, you’re paying a funding rate for the borrowed capital.

An interesting read about blobs. Most people are just complaining without knowing what they’re talking about.
Many people arguing about blobs, but so far no one has simulated how they respond to demand... until now. TL;DR: Blobs are insanely bullish for ETH long term

Also talking about noise and the ETH is dead callers… everything is still in alignment with previous cycles, when ETH bottomed in December. I think the ETH/BTC bottom is close this time as well.
It’s always the same, but people only focus on the price.
